What is your budget?

For the price... Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus is hard to beat!!

Highend... Noctua NH-D14

The Noctua Looks interesting. What do you think about cooler masters v Series heatsinks???

CM V series are overpriced for their performance... IMO. I would go with the CM Hyper 212+ over any of them.

212 + seems to get great reveiws all the time.
If I was sill on air thats what I would have.
Tons of reveiws out there.

Price to performance... Specially if your overclock is below 4.0GHz. You want air over 4.0GHz, the Noctua and a few others are the only way to go!!

Not stressful with the appropriate cooling... If you know what you are doing, you should be able to have a stable 4.2GHz overclock using the Noctua with the i7 950. Each chip overclocks differently so your results may vary :(

That's my problem..I don't know what I'm doing. I know really nothing about OC-ing, I didn't know what a heatsink was before last week and I have been reading and trolling for til my eyes bleed. I just stumbled across this site recently and am soooo glad to have found it.

I would go with the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus and call it save. I won't worry about trying a 4.0GHz plus overclock to start :)

Checkout the Overclocking forum for helps and tips... ;)
