Only difference is the 2500 can't be overclocked more then a few hundred MHz the 2500K has an unlocked multiplier and when combined with a P67 motherboard can be overclocked to close to 5GHz on air :sol: .

The 2500 is multiplier-locked. Its Turbo mode can be overclocked by a maximum of 400MHz in a P67 mainboard.

The 2500K has an unlocked multiplier. If you get very very lucky, you could have one that goes up to a 5.7GHz top speed. A good percentage of them can get to 4.5GHz at least.

Also, the 2500K has better processor graphics.
