I know what it looks like, Yes I did my research, but I can't find an answer to my question anywhere else on the internet, plus every google search comes up with a gazillion ebay/amazon ads and no answer.
My motherboard is a EVGA P55 SLI, 132-LF-E655-KR.
Someone is selling this RAM in my area, Corsair Vengeance, 4096mb, 1600mhz 9-9-9 24 1.50v ver 2.2.
Now here's my doubt:
The RAM part number is CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9.
I checked that model on the Corsair motherboard compatibility section of their website, and it seems that this P55 model is compatible with the CMZ16GX3M4A1600C9B.
With an extra "B" at the end of the part.
I might be asking a question with an obvious answer but I still want to get a second opinion on this, and well it's really the only option I have around my area, so...
Is that RAM going to be compatible with the motherboard? Or does the lack of the 'B' at the end means it's a completely different model and it won't work?
