Upgrade from 330j to e3400

OK...kind of a noob, and doing research like crazy to try and determine if I can upgrade my Gateway Profile 5.5 from it's current Celeron 330J to a Celeron Dual-Core E3400.

Here is a comparison of the processors...

And it looks to my unexperienced eyes like all the key specs are there to support the beefier processor as far us cache and bus speeds and all that, but like I said, I don't know nothin'. I have upgraded a couple of other CPUs from single to dual-core recently with great success, but in each case I was able to Google it and find articles where people had already done the exact same upgrade...for this I am not finding anything, which either means no one has done it, or no one is admitting that they have.

Any help I can get from some of you more experienced folks is appreciated.

The system supports 800MHz fsb but being a Gateway might lack BIOS support for the new chip. Very limited information on the web about Gateway.

Tell me about it...usually I can find everything I ever wanted (and sometimes didn't want) to know after a half hour or so of Googling...not this time!

At least that gives me a little bit of a lead, though...I didn't really think much about looking specifically at the BIOS...
