How to connect thermaltake TR2 RX to molex fans?

I'm having trouble connecting my Thermaltake TR2 RX 850W PSU to my Case which has both male and female molex connections for the case fans. I know that the PSU is not the problem bcuz the mobo powers up just fine but i just cant figure out how to connect the case fans to the PSU. The PSU did come with peripheral 4-pin cables but those don't seem to do the trick. Any ideas?

Peripheral = molex, it should work! Sometimes the plugs are stiff.

When i plugged the molex into the peripheral i had to use alot of force to plug the two together..is that what you mean by "plugs being stiff"?

Yes, they only fit together one way because of the shape! Did you make sure that the pins were aligned properly? They are sometimes very flimsy.

I noticed that they are flimsy somewhat and i tried my best to attach them without damaging them Ive considered buying some molex to 8pin cables but i dont wanna spend the money if i dont have to considering i just spent a ton of money on all these parts.

ummm..i feel dumb for asking but do i have the CPU installed to have the fans work?

Well without the CPU the computer will not run but if you have power on the board then the fans should work connected directly to the PSU.
I really don't know since I have never powered a board without CPU!
