actually waiting on a test board so it's in a box in the dresser drawer....
eBay athlon x2 7850 are like $40-45 so I ordered a replacement one of those.
better chip anyways.
it's kind of crazy that the 5800+ and 6000+ (2.9GHz-3.1GHz Brisbane or Windsor) versions can cost like $90+
while the athlon x2 7750/7850 (tho not as compatible with pure AM2 boards) are better chips.
it's actually the first phenom i dual-core that AMD had to change marketing strategy for becuase
the phenom ii was going to be released soon.
it has L3 cache, unlocked multiplier, 1066MHz, and some can be core unlocked.
10 platform and not 8 so the performance clock for clock is more on par with Intel and C2D.
