Will 2 of these work well with two of these :)

I would like to know if two of these ram http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=40739&sku=C13-5720 will work with two of these ram I already have in my rig http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=167285&CatId=4534 My motherboard is asus deluxe z68 I7 2600k cpu and GTX 580 sli. Thanks for your help in advance I would like to know because this ram is on sale and I would like 16 gigs.

No they won't.Because your MB has 4 slots and you already have 3 of those slots occupied.
Even if it would have worked,I wouldn't recommended it at all.12GB is way more than enough for games/apps

No I have three sticks of ram but one is in a ziplock bag and I have two slots occupied with the other two sticks of ram with two empty slots waitng for some more ram

Thank you I'm proud of my first build....But this ram is on sale and I really want to populate my PC to 16 gigs but I bought a tri channel kit which works dual channel with 2 sticks in and I have the third stick wasting away so I was wondering if I could populate the other two slots with the other ram and run all 4 at 1600 mhz 9-9-9-24.

Well,it's possible to mix them but not "recommended" since they don't have the same timings and speeds

Ok thanks I decided to wait for the same kit I already have to go on sale then i'll uprade to 16 gigs with 2 left over. I'm good for gaming I suppose. Thanks
