Display problem in IBM R51 laptop

Hello, a horizontal line on the screen IBM R51

It's either a loose contact between the flat cable that connects the display to the main body of the laptop or then it's time to get a new LCD for it.
If you got your laptop recently serviced or had it opened up by a novice then there is a chance of this being a loose contact but if that is not the case then, you should get the LCD changed ASAP.
And if you happen to be in India, you'll be able to pick up that model LCD really cheap from Delhi.
All you need to do it either give it to a repair guy or check the sticker behind the screen and get the ditto same model from Delhi.
