W7-compatible sound card for P5GD1

Hi there, I've upgraded to Windows 7 and it doesn't seem to like my on-board sound card so I'm looking to purchase a new one.
Thing is, the new cards that I've looked at say pci-express and I'm pretty sure my mobo only has 1 pcie slot and 4 pci slots (it's an Asus P5GD1 model). My graphics card occupies the express slot so I think I need a Windows 7 compatible card that uses plain old pci. I don't really care how great the card is, I'm just looking for something cheap that will work.

You have 4 PCI E x1 slots which is what sound cards use so you will be fine. for cheap get an ASUS Xonar DS
