How and what software to get my build up and running?

Mobo: MSI 870a Fuzion
CPU: Amd 1090t 3.2 x6 black edition
GPU: MSI Radeon 5770 Hawk
RAM: ADATA 1600 ddr3 gaming series
PSU: Cooler Master gx 750w
adata 64gb ssd
samsung spinpoint 500gb hdd
CM Storm Scout Case

I got the computer to turn on and everything seems fine. I can enter the BIOS.. I tried installing windows xp. I got to the setup and it said fatal error and that there was something missing that was preventing it from continuing. so I tried installing the motherboard driver.. I put in both disks that came with the 870a but i couldn't seem to get either one to install anything. Please help me with the order of what to install and how to do it. Sorry I'm such a noob at this. thanks

Make sure the bios is recognising your cd/dvd drives and hard disks,
set the pc to boot from cd and put the drivers on for win Xp, then install windows Xp.
afterwards reset the boot priority to boot from your hard drive that windows is living on

when i go to standard cmos features my ssd and my drw show up but not the hdd. however, when i go to boot sequence under advanced bios settings it shows all three. so you're saying I should put boot priority to cd/dvd drive. should i disable the hdd and ssd from the boot sequence?

Dont disable the drive you want Windows installed on, the ssd I would assume?
you can remove the other drive physically by removing the sata and power lead, and install that after you have windows installed,
but to start with, make sure the bios looks at your cd drive first.
