New Build, $1000 Budget

Building a new PC, I've gotten some advice from a friend. This is what I've gotten so far:

MOBO: ASUS M4A78T-E AM3 AMD 790GX

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb

RAM: CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB)

PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W

Video Card: SAPPHIRE Toxic 100282-2GTXSR Radeon HD 5850

HDD: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 HD502HJ 500GB 7200 RPM

Case: Antec Two Hundred(v2) Black ATX Mid Tower

Any advice you can give me is great. I feel good about the MOBO/CPU/RAM/PSU.

I don't generally use a lot of hard drive space so I am ok with losing some cost/size ratio in return for a straight up lower cost.

The case seems like a straight up steal.

Now the video card. It seems to me like this thing is pretty good, but is the 300 dollar price tag worth it? I feel like I got off cheap with the rest of the gear so I don't mind the price but do you all think it is a decent card given other options and the rest of my proposed gear?
