HD5770s X-fired vs HD5870
Oct 5, 2010, 8:08 PM
Am I missing something?
To me two HD5770s or two GTX460s in X-Fire/SLI seem like they would yield higher performance than a HD5870 at a lower price.
Can anyone think of any reason not to go in this direction?
Also which would be better? HD5770s in X-FIRE or GTX460s in SLI?
I am thinking that two GTX460s would yield the biggest bang for the buck.

Yeah, 2 GTX 460s or overclocking an HD5850 or GTX 470 are the best choices for the money at the moment although holding off a few weeks to see the price/performance of the HD6000 cards is a good idea.
