Laptop not connecting

Hello,
i have a broadband connection , which works perfectly fine for the pc.. but i hav been using the same connction for my laptop to access internet..but this time around , when i try to connect the laptop , it shows that username/password is invalid..though the same username and password is valid when used on my PC

Don't always believe error messages.

However, could you explain what you mean by "this time around" because it suggests that the laptop wireless worked before.

Meanwhile check the wireless mode in the router and if that makes no difference then try turning off wireless security in the router -- see if you can connect the laptop with either of those changed individually.
