Geforce GTX 460 Power Requirement?

Hi guys i am hoping to buy a new graphics card for my computer this is the power supply i have for the moment eXtreme Power Plus 550W http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=5888...the card that i am looking forwarder to buy is a Geforce GTS 250 or a Geforce GTX 460 the both cards Need a +12v 24 A the psu i have got has +12v1 16A ,+12v2 16A is it means i have 32 A altogether? will my current PSU is enough to run the card smoothly without any problems? it will be great if u guys can help me out

Note: i am hoping to buy only one singe card Geforce GTS 250 or a Geforce GTX 460

This is the system i have

Processor - Intel® Core™2 Quad 2.4GHz
Memory - 4.0 GB RAM
HDD - 160GB

Yes, when you're looking at Amperage on a PSU, you add up all of the 12v boxes, which for you would mean 32 amps available on the 12v rail.

That power supply should be fine for either card. I replaced my 9800GTX+ ( same as a GTS250 ) with a GTX460 and it blows the old card away. Go with a 1GB GTX460 and you will be much happier.
