Im looking at selling my father my Motherboard/CPU/and Graphics Card
Ive decided that im going to buy either a i7 2600k-2700k and a EVGA GTX 570/580 Video Card but the most difficult thing to decide is the motherboard I have a soft spot for Asus because I love my G73 laptop and this mother board has Been OK but their customer support is completely crap. So I dont know much about LGA1155 motherboards so im looking in the range of 1-250$s this setup is for Hardcore gaming eventually im going to go with a 3 Monitor 3D setup so im looking for somthing to last. Also if you see any other things on my computer that need some upgrading now plz post. thanks guys

i5 2500k = i7 2600k in gaming. Get it instead and save $100 dollars. Use that $100 toward http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131700 . The best motherboard money can buy. (not really but extremely high end)

Doesnt the i7 have Hyperthreading and the i5 doesnt?

No games use all 4 cores to their full potential. Hyperthreading actually slows down gaming performance on i7.
