i need to decide between the ati hd 5670 1gb and nvidia gts 450 1gb ? for my i5 pc.
mainly used for: photoshop, video editing, games like cod, pes, crysis..
the nvidia is 13$ more.
my dealer says ati is better, but i thought i should ask here first.

The GTS450 is comparable to the 5830, your dealer is a twazzock.

Whhaaaa? I didn't see it before the edit but... :heink:

The GTS 450 is better than the HD5670 but it isn't quite on par with the HD5770 much less the HD5830.
What is your monitor's native resolution and what is the brand/model of your power supply?

For gaming at that resolution you'll want at least the GTS 450 and you'll also want to give it a nice overclock. The alternative on the ATI side is the HD5770 which is slightly better but if an HD5750 already costs that much then you should probably stick with OCing a GTS 450.

I like that Xbit review! It's a tad odd but still amusing.
