Hello there, I'm looking for some last suggestions before ordering, I realize i have a 800w power supply which is overkill for my system but I plan to crossfire in the future and this PSU has had very good reviews, i especially like the silent pro feature. But anyways, I'm trying to stay below $1,100 including the OS, and so far with this setup i am below :)  so any suggestions, tweaks, etc are greatly appreciated! Here it is...

CD/DVD: ASUS Black 24X DVD+R

CASE: COOLER MASTER HAF 922

HDD: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 500GB

MOBO: ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3 AM3 AMD 880G HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

GPU: ASUS EAH6850 DirectCU/2DIS/1GD5 Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX

PSU: COOLER MASTER Silent Pro Gold Series RS800-80GAD3-US 800W Gold Certified

RAM: G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor

CPU COOLER: COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit

Thanks again :)

Try and get a 1 TB drive... Spinpoint F3 1 TB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... ~ 69.99, the 500 gig is 54.99, so it isn't a budget breaker =D....

Buy a couple Case fans... you won't regret 'em.... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... They can be later on, if they don't fit in your budget....(make sure 120MMX25mm fits in your case....)

Happy building!!

Np.... That is the only things I can see wrong with your build... lol... Solid build =D

Edit: Think of a SSD eventually.... Anything Sandforce... my fav SF SSD is currently the Mushkin SSD (60gig) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... ~ 129.99 Or the 120 gig version, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168... ~ 235.99

Though I've heard OCZ makes the best SF SSDs....

G35.... Get it off of Amazon though, it is like 60$ irght now... (usually 120)
7.1, plus USB, so you don't have the Soundcard affecting quality.

Haha I know totalnoob, I saw it when it was that cheap. It was Black Friday, Sat and Sun. they changed the price on Monday. I didn't buy it though. Save enough money for SB as I possibly can.

BTW I have the Scout. The stock cooling is quiet, w/ LED on/off switch. Sleek black all around and cable management is easy. Plus it's pretty big mid-tower, bigger than my 902 by a bit.

I'm gonna stay with the Haf 922 as i really like the case and design, especially the red led, what can i say :)  also i dont mind paying the bit extra for an asus mobo, i've had really good luck with them over the years.i will take a look at that headset!

=D.... If it is to expensive, look at Razer Cucharas... they are nice (I don't remember the pricing on those, something like 70$.... maybe less...( Tomshardware has a thingy that helps with pricing....)

If you like the red LEDs, look at red case fans, and maybe a cathode light or two =p... I'mma excited, my cathode lights are coming thursday!
