Alright so I got some cash around $300 that I made from Black Friday and want to upgrade my PC. Current Specs:

CPU: i7-860 @ 2.8GHz
HDD: 5TB's total of 7200RPM HDD's
RAM: (2 X 2GB) G-Skill RipJaws 1333MHz
GPU: EVGA GTX 260
MOBO: Intel DP55-WB
K&M: Logitech MX310
Monitor: 24" Westinghouse Monitor for my Desk and a 40" Westinghouse as main monitor/TV.

I was thinking abour some Ram since its less than $40 now with rebates and maybe get a new keyboard and mouse that can go through a blanket since I use this PC more as a HTPC than a actual Gaming PC. I was also thinking of another GTX 260 for SLI since I can get one for around $125-$150. Any recommendations?

For mice that work just about anywhere including clear glass look at logitech darkfeild mice. That may cut in a blanket for u. Since this is primarily a movie player have u thought about adding some surround sound or a blueray drive?

I have surround sound for the TV but not at my desk since I use my desk only for schoolwork. I don't watch blu-ray's. I download movies or use my Netflix or hulu.

glad I could help with SSD, when it's time ti install just yell at me if you need a pointer or two..
secondary option is to upgrade to the newer graphics card but the GTX260 still is a strong ass card so it's not a HIGH priority (GTX460)
you mentioned the SLI move, but if not gaming then why really, sell you GTX260 and move up.
maybe a second monitor if running a single.
RAID controller. IDK..
your system is looking nice right now and with the SSD even better..

yeah it was a great deal too. little over $485 after shipping. I just got the SSD installed in my PC and have to copy over the OS and everything now. Still have another $190. I am thinking of snatching up a pair of 4GB DDR3-1600 RipJaws for $40 after rebate. I might pick up 2 and sell my current paid or overclock my current pair. Iam not sure what to do about overclocking ram though..... Well Iam having second doubts about adding a GTX 260. Previously I used to game on my little monitor at 1680 X 1050 but now since I game on a 40" 1920 X 1080 my GPU is overworked sometimes and I want to take the load off of it. Iam also thinking of selling my entire rig and moving onto a fresh build with the 1336 socket.
