I would like to buy a computer asap but need some desperate help with what is the best for my buck. I liked the price point of lunyone's build in the sticky but the combos are out of date on newegg's site and there is a few comments saying those builds are a little dated.

I would like to keep the price point around $600-700 but I'm willing to move a little. I have a 24" monitor and would like to play new games on as high settings as I can. I only need a tower and OS. I doubt I will overclock it and am a maybe on SLI or Crossfire.

Thanks for helping me get the best deal for my buck.

Tower $597AR: Deneb Black Edition + HD 6850 and crossfire capable

I'm also interested in this same price range. So it is a good build with the exception of switching the x4 970 with the 955? If so I think I will purchase this today.
