Hello,
I did a system build a few nights ago, and it just refused to post. A friend of mine suggested using an older non-USB keyboard, and alas... it worked.

Is there any reason that the P67 Sabertooth does not allow a computer to boot/function with a USB keyboard. I even tried booting it up with the adaptor, then unplugging it and putting it directly into USB and it powered it down completely, then just went back to not posting.

ASUS P67 Sabertooth
Intel i5 2500k Unlocked
EVGA GeForce GTX 560Ti
OCZ 120GB SATA3 SSD
16 GB DDR3 (forget brand from top of head)

Keyboard : SteelSeries G6
Mouse : Razer Lachesis

Welcome to Tom's Forum! :)

A couple of things, don't use USB 3.0 (non native ports) and I've seen a shorted USB mouse cause a post failure. So assumption is USB 3.0 or a shorted keyboard. USB 2.0 keyboards shouldn't pose a problem.

Solution - RMA or Exchange your USB Keyboard.
