APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: 1-2 weeks

BUDGET RANGE: $1000-$1500 AFTER rebates

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: running huge complex excel sheets

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: GPU, keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers, OS, case

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA

PARTS PREFERENCES: none

OVERCLOCKING: YES!

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: no

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920X1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: these excel sheets are massive, 500MB or more. they include macros and complex formulas. they need a lot of memory access, thus i need very fast memory read/write times. they current run very slow on my OC'd i3 system

CURRENT BUILD PLAN:

CPU: i7 920 D0, OC'd to 4.0ghz +
MOTHERBOARD: ASUS P6X58D-E
MEMORY: 3X2GB, DDR3 1600 / 1800 / 2000 ??
POWER SUPPLY: Corsair 750w

My biggest question is what speed of memory i need. i want to run the blck at 200+, and i want the memory read/write to be as fast as possible

Thanks
