ASRock Z68 Extreme4 Gen 3 Question

I currently have a 2 week old ASRock Z68 Extreme4 (not Gen3) causing some issues. I need to return it because of the issues, but was wondering peoples thoughts on if (since its the same price) I should just get the Gen3 for future upgradability.

Basically I know the MoBo is more futureproof, but other than that is their any "downside" to switching to the Gen 3?

Also have a second question as well. I have a GTX 580 plugging into this...

Should I install Lucidlogix Virtu (comes with MoBo) or is this just bloatware.

Can't really find any reviews of it so not sure.

Go with the newer MoBo. You can't go wrong.
