I've 6 gb ram (4gb usabe)

I've a dell precision 490, ive increase my ram to 6 gb but i see that only my 4 gb are usable, ive try to enter to msconfig.exe to change boot but nothing change.Ive update my bios but nothing change too.I dont know what to do and pleaese need help.Thank You (sorry for my english)

Answered and Problem solved -> http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/300116-30-installed-u... use (3) Identical Sticks <or> modify the BIOS (Dell/OEM probably not possible). Problem is your Socket 771 MOBO supports only Buffered/Registered aka RDIMM and in PAIRS. Dell -> http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ws490/en/...
