Difficulty removing Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer 120mm

I have a Sunbeam Core Contact Freezer installed on an ASUS mATX motherboard (AM2+ socket) in an Antec Sonata III case, and I cannot remove or even loosen one side of the mounting brackets. There are no instructions for uninstallation, so I am not sure if I am doing something wrong. I have tried applying downward pressure while pushing on both clips, and tried removing one clip at a time to no avail.

Has anyone else had the displeasure of trying to install/uninstall one of these monstrosities? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I am having the same trouble. I tried doing what the link said but it still doesnt come off. Does anyone have any personal experience removing the sunbeam core contact freezer 120mm?
