Will current Sandy Bridge Processors work with the fixed chipset?

Hi,

Notr sure if this is a stupid question but Im wondering if I buy an Intel i5-2500k now (because Im heading to the states in a few days and its waaayyy cheaper) and then hold off until April for a motherboard with the fixed Intel chipset, will the processor I buy now work with a motherboard with the fixed chipset?

They didnt change anything in the chipset design wise, they merely strengthened some of the transistors in the SATA controller, nothing else was changed so there is no change in CPU support so the CPUs will still work with any LGA 1155 board.
