A few weeks ago, I built my computer and it all went well apart from the BluRay Rom drive, which had to be RMA'ed. I had everything working until I received the replacement and installed it. I then got a "page fault in nonpaged area" BSOD. After reading a few forums I tried removing the RAM. However upon removing one piece, now when I turn it on the screen is blank and doesn't show anything. The screen is fine (I tested).

Always post your specifications - saves time.

Disconnect all external and internal components and only run with bare minimum components. If you have an onboard video card, use that. Make sure CPU has a stock cooler properly installed, the motherboard has ALL POWER SUPPLY CONNECTIONS MADE if ATX. Please read manual if you are unsure.

Then, boot up the system. If it still does not show anything - your motherboard or display card may have a problem.

Please connect a PC speaker to the motherboard (beeper) and hear the number of beeps.

I tried disconnecting things to the bare minimum and no joy. Everything is properly connected.

see if you can locate the speaker on the motherboard... it is a black cylinder with a dotted opening on the top surface. Read the manual to see if it has one.
