I know in most cases the 2GB is pretty much useless....but the palit card is no more expensive than the EVGA with similar clocks and warranty....I'm thinking the large frame buffer could possibly lend a fairly significant advantage for 3D vision, as it does take a pretty big toll with hig res/settings...basically your FP are half what they would be in 2D for most titles. Anyone know for sure? Or can point me in a direction to find out?

I was planning 2x1GB 460's, now i'm waiting a bit to see what crops up the next week or two, the thought of two GB cards just occured to me this moring, but no luck finding any answers.

Thanks.

2GB won't give you a noticeable boost(if even any at all) in almost all games, so its not useful and not worth the extra cash IMO.
Read the reviews of HD 5870 2GB vs 1GB and you'll get the idea of the performance difference between 2GB and 1GB.

getting 2 GTX 460 will help keep your framerates over 60 on really high resolutions so if your gonna get 3D vision its better to get two gtx 460 not one with 2gb of ram
