SATA Problem with Foxconn G31

i have g31 mother board and there is a problem with sata ports i mean if i plug my hard disk and dvd writer to the sata 1 and 2 ports i'm stuck at the foxconn logo screen and same thing happen when i plug sata 3 and 4. if i plug my sata cable to 1 and 3 it's ok what would be the problem, is there any jumper settings to sata or is there any special sata cable to use???

Can you post a link to the motherboard specs? Kinda hard to know what's wrong without specific info.
