Buy cpu now or wait a bit?

I'm trying to build my mom a $300 office build and I'm currently looking for parts



Right now OfficeDepot has the Athlon II X3 450 on sale for $66 with free shipping (newegg has them for $80)

This is actually my target CPU for this build and I was wondering if I should jump on this $15 discount or if I should wait a bit more.

I'm sure some of you guys are more updated on component deals and sales. I was wondering if the $15 off is a hard to beat deal and if you guys think there's a chance that a nicer deal/combo would come up in the next week or so.

I just wanna make sure because I don't want to buy this and find out that newegg has a Phenom II x4 combo or something on sale for the same price

Unless you live near a microcenter where you can get a board almost free with amd purchase, I would get the office depot deal. Cpus aren't discounted much if any; I found a 255 regor with board for $60 yesterday, but it's used. I don't mind buying used as I'm a pretty experienced builder.

If you just need a computer for office buy a pre-built Dell deal or pick one up at CostCo. If you have to pay for Windows 7 it's almost always cheaper to get an OEM for a low-end computer.
