280GTX RIP

My 280GTX finally went to gpu heaven 8( I bought it two years ago or so and played hard core on it for too many hours to count. It bums me that it died so soon!


I been wanting to upgrade to the new 400s but was going to wait for 500s. Now i have no choice. is there a card that will be as good, or better than 280gtx for under $300?

If is only 2 years it should still be under warranty. Try RMA it and they might give you something from a GTX285 to a HD5850/70.

AT your price range the best bet is the GTX470, though if you have a SLI Mobo, the GTS450 SLI can actually deliver the same performance for $40 less while using less power.
