Hello,
I am able to wake up my computers at work as these have static IPs and magic packet works like a charm. But I am unable to wake up my home computer from work. I have a Belkin Wireless G MIMO router F5D9230-4, connected to a Comcast Motorola Cable modem.

The problem is that using over the internet requires your router to forward packets to the broadcast address which most modern cheap routers do not do
You have two options

1. Ask the router manufacturer if it has the option to allow "subnet directed broadcasts" and enable that or
2.set up static arp entries in your router and this seems to work.
