Hi,

I was wondering if my recently bought phenom II 955 was powerfull enough to push two Amd 6950 Cards.
I'm switching to an eyefinity setup, thanks

Who cares?

Even 'bottle-necked' 2xHD6950s is some serious juice. Do you have a 'need' or just a 'want'? I'd certainly try a single tweaked card before going to a second card ...

The higher the rez the more dependent you become on your GPUs, though with Eyefinity there will certainly be a point of diminishing returns.

Tell us more about your current rig and where you wish to go ...

well right now i have a 6850 and get around 20-23 frames in bad company 2 (unplayable) on one screen.
i've looked around the net a bit and people with one 6950 get around 25-30 frames in eyefinity and needed a second.
but i dont know if the 955 would hold the second card back :)
thanks for the response

I'm not the gaming guru but 20-23 frames with an HD6850 seems a bit low to me - but in a heavy multiplayer could be about right.

Should check with The Gamers on that

edit: I fergit ....

IIRC there were a series of game patches to BC2 which were necessary to correct 'issues'. Are you patched?
