+1 Agreed. :)  Multiple of a low end card isn't the best idea. Especially since you don't get 400% performance from 4 cards.

Buy a single good card, or two medium level cards instead.

Not to mention, 4 GPUs in a PC is going to create a large airflow blockage, and heat build up. Not to mention inefficient power usage.

+1 to two medium cards, I have dual Sapphire 5750's Vapor-X in crossfire and it runs anything pretty smooth. They even have a huge 20% overclock headroom if you wanted performance between a 5850 and a 5870. If you have the money to to with a high-end card off the start though, that might be better for down the road if you plan to upgrade. Then you can throw a second one in crossfire.
