Amd athlon ii x4 640 how good is it?

is it close to core 2 quad q8400 in terms of gaming performance ?
please really need this answer
it would also help if you could rank these processors with a score out of 100:
intel core 2 quad q8400,core i3 540,core 2 duo e8400,amd athlon ii x4 955,amd phenom ii 955,core i5 650 and core 2 duo e7500. lets leave sandy bridge processors out of this.

My guessing is 640 should be better than q8400 with a speed bump of 100mhz

your guess is wrong, you need to study more.

here is the 645 (faster then your 640) and its basically the same as the 635 and still loses in many areas to the q8400 including gaming

So moral of the story is it doesnt matter even if i3 is getting cheaper but its still expensive than any of the athlon ii x4 quads... choice is upto the buyer..

what he buys..let him decide.

what the hell are you talking about? who mentioned the i3? the OP asked about the q8400. here, ill post the i7 killing the athlon II in every benchmark since you decided to bring in any CPU you want....you really are stupid...
