When will nvidia release new cards? (post 400 series)

Just bought a gtx 460 cyclone and could NOT be happier. I'm just curious when their next line is coming out. Do they typically release cards 12, 18, or 24 months after the previous series? Thanks in advance!

Depends how things go on the design and fabrication. Fermi took a long time to get out the door partly because it was a huge chip. nVidia isnt saying much about their next line so we dont know when it will be coming out. We dont even know when the ATI 6xxx series shows up aside from soonish, hopefully, maybe.

Kepler is the codename of next gen of card after fermi.It will be based on a 28nm fabrication process, and deliver an estimated 3 to 4 times the performance per watt compared to Fermi.
