4 bit color quality for display stuck

Hello, for some reason my computer just turned off and when it turned back on, the display screen looks weird, when i checked the resolution, it is very low and the color quality was stuck on the 4 bit, won't allow me to adjust it to higher quality, if i will shall we say adjust it to 16 bit, the computer will turn off and the monitor will shut off as if it is in sleep mode and won't turn back on..please help..

Re-install the driver for your graphic card...
