Hi,

What is the benefit of dual link DVI connectors?

I am getting a new GPU, probably 5850 or 460. I need it to have two ports; should I be bothered to get a card with dual link DVI ports?

I am running two screens, currently one single link DVI monitor and then an old VGA monitor that I will replace within two years.

Here's wikipedia's definitions. I use dual link DVI for my 120MHz monitor.
