Hello,
I'm working on my first ever mid range build from scratch. I've done a few builds where I've had a barebones system pre-built but it's been awhile. I've recently purchased case, MB, CPU, RAM, PSU, & OS. I need some suggestions for a gpu, 120mm blue fan, possible heatsink/fan for cpu, and HD. I bought the micro tower because it's small and light and I may possibly move it to living room and hook it up to 32in vizio lcd tv, however for now it will be used with a 1240x480? lcd monitor.
Use: internet, some gaming like dragon age, d3, dragon age2 (future games), possible htpc in future, may play around with minor cpu OC.
System:
coolermaster elite 341 rc micro atx mid tower computer
asus M4A88T-M AM3 mb
Antec BP550 Plus 550W PS
AMD Phenom II X4 955 cpu
G.Skill Ripjasws series 4GB (2x2gb)
MS windows 7

I'd like thoughts on a lower power GPU card less than $150. I don't want a super sized gpu that takes up half my case or one that is power hungry. I'm not sure if I want a 5670, 5770, 5750 or gts450. My pc's usually last 3-5 years on average.
I currently have an old seagate barracuda 7200.9 80Gb HD sata1 and external usb hd's. I'm not sure if I should go with one of the new seagate spindrives or a small ssd for the OS.
Also I'd like a quiet blue lcd 120mm fan for the front. Not sure what to get though.
Also do I need to get new heatsink/fan combo or will the stock one suffice?
Going over my build I'm also worried about the PSU, the amps on the 12V lines seem kind of low.
thanks forum guru's for your time!
