  1. PSU
XFX PSU's are cheaper and better
the 850 BE is $130 after MIR

    HD
If you're doing extensive video work, then you'll want the extra speed and capacity of the 1tb spinpoint f3, which is only $20 mire.

Don't bother with a 40gb SSD, its not enough for OS + basic apps + a videoediting suite like CS5.

    RAM
This ripjaw kit is cheaper and better specs $115

    Mobo
ga x58 ud3r is just a good for much less. Also combo's with win 7 premium 64 bit $289 combo

GTX 480 is a waste of money and power.
You're paying 78% more money for 15% more performance over a gtx 470.

In fact, for the price of the 480 you linked, you can get 2 470's and blow it out of the water in performance.

Technically, best price performance would be the 5850 for $175, but they lack CUDA for video editing

  2. Dont throw ur money on buying soon to become old gen components(CPU/MOBO).

Also as banthracis said GTX 470 is waste of money when u can outperform it through SLI of 2x460's (200$ each). Also a 750w PSU is more then enough for SLI and other components.

    GPU: 2 x GTX 460 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130570
    SSD: OCZ Agility 2 60GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227542
    HDD: 2 x Samsung F3 1Tb in Raid http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185
