Hi,
Just put together this system. I put CPUZ on and I noticed that the chip was running at 800 and not 3200. Then when I went to do some thing it jumpped up to 3200, then 2080 the back to 800. Do I have a setting wrong is this ok? should I change something. First time with a Gigabyte bd. Most builds have been ASUS.
Thanks

New CPUs have speed scaling based on load. Your CPU is running normally. It is possible to run the CPU at full speed all the time by disabling C1E and Cool and Quiet in the BIOS.

It's amd's "cool and quiet" energy saving software. If you don't like it, just disable the setting in the bios.
