Help me build a sub $2000 workstation pc plz!

Hi all!

I'm trying to build a pc for photo and video editing needs. I want to limit the system to $1700, without monitor. I already got a ips monitor already. I will be using Photoshop, Lightroom and rarely adobe premier. I shot RAW photos all the time, so if I an convert them quickly then it would be nice for a ssd hard drive I don't need more than 64gb.

Let me know whats the beat for my purpose. Thanks!

Wait till 9th Jan, 2011 for Intel new CPU's to be released. AMD new 69xx GPU series will also be launched in couple of weeks. So hold on for selecting a CPU/MOBO/GPU for now.

You can discuss selection of other components with users here. About the SSD, have a look into Revodrive which will give u some fast speeds for your photos applications.
