hello "!!!!
I have a dell pc dimension 9200, it has a processor core 2 duo e6300 2.4ghz
2 gb ddr2 memory,
and I wonder if it is possible to improve the processor and RAM memory,
I wonder if it can be changed by a Core 2 Quad Q6700!

or if it is possible to find a motherboard compatible the pc heatsink, but for a different type of processor '?
thanks!!!

If your dell board has the g965 chipset, then it's been done for the q6600 according to one poster. But there's no guarantee the q6700 will work; the q6600 was one of the first quad cores. Don't know if the dell heatsink will be adequate for a quad. The speed for the 6600 is the same: 2.4 but with 4 cores instead of 2

Conroe. At this point, your best option is probably to going out and getting new motherboard, CPU, RAM and OS.

The LGA 775 heat sink is incompatible with newer motherboards.
