Hi,
I'm looking to put together a system with a budget of $1000. I've been looking around these forums and I've come up with this although I'm not sure about a couple of components. Any help would be appreciated.

Approximate Purchase Date: 2-3 weeks

Budget Range: $1000 including rebates, shipping, taxes

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, photo editing, general multimedia

Parts Not Required: mouse, keyboard, monitor, speakers

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: www.newegg.ca

Country of Origin: Canada

Parts Preferences: Intel / Nvidia

Overclocking: probably not

SLI or Crossfire: not right now, maybe in the future. is it really worth it? If it's a lot more expensive to get a PSU and motherboard that supports this, then I would rather not.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I would like to make sure that these are all quality components. If I could save some money and still get decent parts then that would be preferable. I would also like to check compatibility among the parts.

The 465 is really bad, get a GTX 460 or a HD 6850.

Better get a cheaper mobo

or this combo

and a HD 6870 - better than the 460/6850.

This PSU can easily power your system and it's excellent:

Thanks for the reply! I like the sound of the CPU/mobo combo as well as the PSU. I had meant to choose a GTX 460 so that's what I will be going with.

Any other comments from anyone? Does the rest look good? Can I get any more band for my buck?
