I'm looking to put together a system with a budget of $1000. I've been looking around these forums and I've come up with this although I'm not sure about a couple of components. Any help would be appreciated.
Approximate Purchase Date: 2-3 weeks
Budget Range: $1000 including rebates, shipping, taxes
System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, photo editing, general multimedia
Parts Not Required: mouse, keyboard, monitor, speakers
SLI or Crossfire: not right now, maybe in the future. is it really worth it? If it's a lot more expensive to get a PSU and motherboard that supports this, then I would rather not.
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Additional Comments: I would like to make sure that these are all quality components. If I could save some money and still get decent parts then that would be preferable. I would also like to check compatibility among the parts.
MSI P55A Fuzion LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - $189.99 http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E1681...
- I really don't know what motherboard is worth getting. I just picked this one somewhat randomly. Any thoughts on a good one that will work well with the rest of the components?
