Can you guys recommend me some part for my budget htpc build? I already have some parts from an older desktop I can use. I don't need a monitor because I am using a HDTV with 1080p.

Processor: Athlon II x4 640
Motherboard:
RAM:
Graphics Card: nVidia Geforce GT240
Hard Drive:
Case:
Power Supply:
DVD Burner:

I prefer to spend around $350~$400 only for the missing parts I need. I'm worried about how everything is going to fit. I'm assuming the harddrive people recommend will be silent since it's a htpc build. I prefer the htpc case to look like a dvd player but would go for something slightly bigger if justifiable but I don't want it looking anything like a regular desktop. Thanks guys!

Yeah, forgot to mention you can sell the GT240 with this setup or use it in another build. I figured since you said you wanted something DVD player size, that was the priority. If you need to reuse the GT240 then you could go for a more receiver size case like the nMediaPC 5000B.

It'll definitely fit in one of the nMediaPC micro-ATX cases -- just not so sure about the 1080p since it looks like it's a slim-sized case much like the Antec Microfusion 350. I have the nMediaPC 1000b and my HIS HD5670 card fits in it just fine.

Is there enough space for a graphic card that may be around an inch taller than your HIS HD5670?
