Hi!

well the problems is kinda complicated -

every 2nd or 3rd time when i put my system on standby, this is what happens:

the screen itself gets dark, and windows exits, but the system wouldnt go to standby. instead it continues to work and i cannot shut it off with the system power button. THERE IS A RED LIGHT THAT LIGHTS UP ON THE VIDEO CARD. the only thing that i can do is to disconnect the power cord, and then the system restarts, and the red light on the video card disappears.

HUH????????? why is this happenin and how can i fix it??????

MY SPECS:

AMD Phenom II 2.8Ghzx4 920
Asus M4A78-E Motherboard
Sapphire 4870Hd 1Gb Vapor-X
OCZ gamerXstream 600W Power Supply
4GB RAM
windows vista 64bit home premium

well both power cords are connected to the card...
my card's idle temp is 56-62C, depending on ambient temp. it has always been like that with no problems. IT STILL HAS THE SAME PROBLEM...

i changed the power saving in vista to "never turn off hard drives". do i also have to choose "never turn off display" ?
