Upgrading memory question

I have a year old homebuild with Asus P7P55D-E Pro ... i5-750 ... and 2-2gb Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600 1.65v ... all is good ... I just picked up new memory ... and want to know if I can pull old 4 gb and install this new memory ... Corair XMS3 DDR3 1600 1.5v 2x4gb (cmx8gx3m3b1600c9) ... didn't notice the lower voltage on the new memory when ordered ... neither old or new are on the vendor list ... for appproved memory ... thanks ... Just try it. The board may adjust the timings or voltage slightly. If you mix the two sets, then the timings may be a bit slower if the board selects 1.5v.
