Hello, was planning to get a new PC not long ago but as I'm no longer gaming as heavily as I was expecting I'm going to spend a little in upgrading my current DDR2 machine. My main slow down is ram of which I have 2gb 400mhz and as I'm using programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop regularly it can be a hassle. Was looking around and saw, not that surprisingly, DDR2 memory seems to be more expensive.
What I've seen is that it's pretty easy to go for 2x2gb 1000mhz-+ for about £40 but was wondering if anyone had any other suggestions or know somewhere cheaper I could look - my mobo is a Gigabyte EP45-UD3LR and I'm not 100% what would be compatible or not,
