Amd x6 1100t wont work with gigabyte 790xta-ud4

just wondering what i can do to make my amd 1100t to work with my gigabyte 790XTA-UD4. the only thing i can think of is to update my bios i tried to but its says that it doesnt support windows 64bit so was hoping does anyone have any ideas

According to the Gigabyte website you need BIOS version F3 to run the later Phenom II CPUs including the 1100T. You may need to update the BIOS via a floppy or flash drive. Check the Gigabyte websute for details.

Try doing the update on the Bios. Don't ever update your bios on windows.

thanks guys i tried to update bios through windows that's why it didn't work. Now it works fine
