System voltage battery low

Hello,

For about the last week I have had a message "system battery low" - strike F1 to continue. My Dell 8300 is about 7 years old. Is battery replaceable? How expensive is it? Is this an indication computer is going to croak? Thank you.

Yes, Like four bucks at an electronics store, and no.

If you pop open your case you'll see a circular silver object roughly the size of a quarter--that's your battery.

And not, that just mean that you need a new battery or you will have to hit F1 every time that you turn on your rig plus the time will not saved when you turn off the rig.
