Thank you, Pyree. My computer is getting very, very sluggish when browsing pages--no matter whether it's pages on the internet or word or xcel documents. My husband suggested I clear my cookies, which I just did. Perhaps that will help. Thanks again.

No, I'm afraid I can't find it. Hate when that happens.

I suggest you to have a look at what process is using up your RAM or cpu process time from task manager then see if you can remove them.

What OS are you using? Is it only web browsing that is slow?

I uninstalled WeatherChannel for Desktop, which was taking 30,000 K. Hopefully, that will help. Firefox is taking 552,000+, but I assume that's normal. Other items are much smaller.

My OS is Windows 7. Not only is web browsing slow, but even when in documents such as Word and Xcel. It also takes a long time to close tabs in my browser.

Maybe clearing the cookies and ininstalling WeatherChannel will help. Thanks!
